Firgas and the Finca de Osorio
From Arucas, there are two routes to Teror. The longer one, on the GC-300, will take you via the pleasant little town of Firgas, where a man-made waterfall cascades 30m (90ft) down shallow steps in the centre of a pedestrianized street. Firgas is known for its water. Thereâs a natural spring south of the town and the remarkably tasty product is bottled and sold all over the island. The more direct route is on the GC-43, which will take you past the Finca de Osorio (closed to the public), used as an Aula de la Naturaleza â a place where students come to learn about conservation, wildlife and agriculture.
